North are hoping to recruit Aidan Tropiano who has left the Perth Demons. He was the 2015 Sandover Medallist.

What type of player is he? On-baller I would presume? Obviously a medalist of that stature can play, sounds at this stage like a good get if possible.

Let's not get too excited about a Sandover medallist.
If I recall we had a guy from WA some years ago (Rory O'Brien I think) who battled in our comp and went back to WA and won a Sandover medal.

True, but it's a step-up from picking up reserves players from other SANFL clubs.

BEING the standout player at his struggling club has paid off for Aidan Tropiano.

The Perth midfielder stormed home to win the Sandover Medal for 2015 as the WAFL’s fairest and best player.

Tropiano moved from East Fremantle to Perth midway through the 2014 season and while the wins haven’t followed, he has turned himself into one of the most prolific midfielders in the WAFL and now he can call himself a Sandover Medallist

Awesome move if he comes over, he can again become the standout at another struggling club Rolling Eyes

Here's his WA stat's, looks like he needs to work on accuracy in front of goals

I thought Marty Whitelaw from WA was even worse than Burrows and Whitelaw had represented the WAFL in an interstate game and like Burrows had played for the Dockers. Beware of WA footballers.

2001.
He played 12 games for one win.
The win was our first for the year against Sturt at Prospect. Incredibly he got Magarey Medal votes in that game.
After he was dropped we won 3 of our last 4 games to avoid the wooden spoon.

Brenton Hartfield was fairly good in 1979 before having a poor 1980.
Daniel Hargraves was a Victorian but we got him from Fremantle.
