Cheers Locky.

Was the second half wet weather footy? If we get out of it injury free I'm happy but not kicking a goal in the second half is a bit ordinary.

Sounds like Davis had a good first quarter, did he get a kick after that?

Yeah was a bit wet in the 2nd half and the wind picked up a bit, not sure re Davis, know he had a short on goal in the 3rd but may have been moved back or something. as far as injuries have to wait and here from those at the ground but apart from about 6 that was probably alot of our reserves and younger sides playing. as for not kicking a goal in the 2nd half, obviously rotations etc changed i would think, and if we go goaless in a 2nd half and come away with 2 points, a wins a win i guess

Great work as usual, Locky. Seems like an unusual scoring pattern. I wonder if the two halves had vastly different personnel, or completely different tactics or something?

It was windy all game but not blustery and just changed directions.
The rain was so light the only impact it had was to make the ball a bit more slippery, minimal impact.

Obviously wasnt you putting the weather updates on the online scoreboard then, we went from light rain to heavy rain, strong breeze to the southern end etc etc on there but in saying that, there updates were good, as i said on another forum they have picked up ideas of gameday from somewhere Very Happy

Be interested to hear your thoughts on both halves of footy and how we went from dominating to hanging on for a win

I left half way though the last quarter so it may have got heavy after that, mind you it took me 10 mins to walk my car and still wasn't heavy.
It was a northerly to start with and changed to a westerly.

good to see our boys get a win, even tho we had a fadeout. Clisby & Hay, any relation to former players?

Watched the last half of the two's and the first half of the main game. Good to have footy back - particularly North. As others have said Davis, Whyman, Elstone, Conners and Luke Ivens (particyularly pleasing to see him out there again for North!) stood out for me.

Then I had a look in the stand - could have nearly fielded a first 18 with the guys who weren't playing!!
Clint Alleway
Matt Wright
Cain Ackland
Daniel Stewart
Rhys Archard
Kriston Thompson
Trent Sporn
James Allan
Michael Wundke
Rory Sloane
Damon White
Nick Gill
Wade Thompson
Heath Younie
Leigh Ryswyk
Damian Cunningham

Will be an interesting year to see whether we can fulfill the potential.
