I might not totally understand the criteria but surely player's success at non-South Australian teams are not valid for his inclusion into a South Australian HoF? As much as I want the Jars bros. in it Fud's Hawthorn success has nothing to do with South Australian footy! For instance, would Ben Hart or Ricciuto be nominated despite only playing a handful of games in the SANFL (with limited personal success) or can they get in for their Crows efforts??
I agree Nitschke should be in for his tremondous effort in the late 1800s... _________________ May the NORTH be with you

I disagree, if someone's played for Hawthorn, Auckland or Bagdad its all about as relevent as playing for the Cows or Port as far as SA Footy goes for true SA Footy fans.
Rehn only played something like 24 games for West and got in, an absolute disgrace IMHO.
Im sure him dragging West down from a finals contender to bottom of the heap wouldn't/shouldn't have helped his case.
At least Bradley and Jarman played a lot more games than that for their SANFL clubs.
Jarman's games for Hawthorn were no less relevent than his games for the Cows IMHO.
BUT having said that it has a very loose description, ie the SA Footy Hall of Fame so I would assume if someone was born here and played 103 games for the Iceland Vikings they'd probably be eligble.
An absolute waste of time, there should be a SANFL hall of fame and nothing else.
Victoria don't have the need to create their own hall of fame for Victorian players only. |

Totaly agree, I thought it was SANFL, but his career at North didn't even get a mention in the paper |

Nup you thought wrong, its the SA Football Hall of Fame.
Nothing to do with the SANFL unfortunately (and wrongly IMHO). |

Although the criteria of getting into the SA Football Hall of Fame seem strange I find it hard that Andrew Newton Jarman isn't
inducted as yet
As I find it S.Rehn in there with limited time (how many games)
Well done Fud - what a career - what a player _________________ Its A Great Great Club and the Club we Love !!

Its because of the loose criteria that you've got to be out of the game for 3 years, apparantley being a coach isn't out of the game but being an assistant coach is. Mickey mouse stuff really. |
