It was reported on the Channel 7 News tonight that Ben Hudson may earn a recall into the Crows Line-Up this weekend 2 play the Western Bulldogs. As a Rooster fan, I hope that we don't lose him, But as a Crows fan & a fan of Ben Hudson it would be great for him & I would wish him all the best. He has been in great form for the Roosters & deserves it but It would be a big loss to the Roosters but the Crows may need him if Rhett Biglands is not passed fit.

Great form?
2 weeks of league, accounted for some kid at West and at the very best broke even with Lindsay.
Don't get me wrong, I had him in our top 3 last week but "great form"?
Crikey, I don't think he'll be pushing for the Magarey quite yet!

Sorry for contributing to the discussion jules.

I wasn't trying to be a comedien, I was making a serious point which I backed up.

Tell me where I'm wrong?

PS I'm a big Huddo fan but the guys just come back from nigh on 12 months out of the game and is doing a fantastic effort of getting back into the game and was in our best 3 or 4 last week in one game but GREAT form? You're a cranky hanky tonight!

If he's fit and ready to go, which he is. He should be in the crows, he's the best ruckman they have. Good luck to ya Huddo, it was good having him back for a couple of weeks. I do hope he 's in our Grand final side if we make it, he'll be a huge asset and might make the difference.

Agreed Wedgie but it looks like we have lost him, I thought he was excellent last week but obviously still not up to his best. However it was reported he spoke with Craig and said he was ready and lets be honest he is the best ruckman on the Crows squad so I also believe he will be back there. If so good luck Huddo I am sure you will do well

After such a long break and with only two league games under his belt he maybe with the crows this week, amazing what the right attitude can do. I wish other players returning from injurues who have played twice as many games had the same attitude,

Rolling Eyes Spot on Bullitt.

BTW, I tend to agree with you on this one Wedgie, while Huddo's game was good, I would have thought "great form", would have to be decided after a lot more than 2 weeks of footy.

Agreed as well Bullitt, attitude plays a huge part as far as on the ground performances go, Huddo is one for example that where as others have not had the right attitude, thinking their selection was named based, not performanced based

What a surprise, you are agreeing with Wedgie, Ian. Wink Wink Wink

Huddo played very well last week, and yes, he has a tremendous drive and goals that he wants to achieve, but I don't think he is ready for the Crows...........I reckon 2 more games with lots of match time and then look at him.

Personally, I would wait till next season for Craigy to play him, but this is from a selfish point of view.

I agree, I don't think he's ready either but Huddo & Neil Craig must both think he is. I'm just repeating what was reported on the news last night.

If he was selected on guts and determination, then yes he should be picked this week for the Crows.
If he is to be selected on form, then no, he isnt quite there yet. Give him two more games for the Roosters at least and see how he is going then. He is by far their best ruckman, so I think they will play him before / during the finals.

Looked to be blowing pretty hard a couple of times on Saturday. Needs to run out a full game to get more match fitness as aposed to training / gym fitness. Game time is the only way to get there. The crows may decide to run him off the bench in short bursts to ease him back.
